Finsterwalder has been a reliable transport partner to and from Tunisia and Morocco for many years.

The requests of long-standing regular customers are now being honoured and the vehicle fleet is being enlarged by new, additional special trailers.
 
For the Maghreb area, 20 Krone megatrailers (tarps) with properties such as
2.98 m clear entry height, P400 rail-compatible, Code XL, side boards, GPS and load securing with fixed lashing straps were purchased.
 
In addition, 60 new MEGA-Box trailers from the manufacturer CCFC with properties such as 2.92 clear entry height, P400 railway-capable, double-decker-capable, GPS, load securing with safety bars will be put to use.
 
Our customers, just like Finsterwalder, attach great importance to innovation and the environment.
Combined transport between Germany and Italy is an important alternative for transports to the south. The current problems with transit through Austria - obstacles at the Brenner and truck block admissions - forced us to rethink.
 
Long-term partnership with our customers also means joint development of concepts. The implementation of requirements of the automotive industry, such as a
clear entry height of 2.92m or cranable P400 Mega Box-Trailers, takes this into account.
The special feature of the trailers is that they can be used as a box trailers on trains despite their internal height of 2.92 m.
 
The aim is to transport these trailers unaccompanied by rail between Munich-Riem and Melzo. The first transports in this type of combined transport have been carried out successfully.
 
The Maghreb transports are planned from the Finsterwalder site in Türkheim (Allgäu).
