New logistics facility Saxony

There are 6 hall areas with a total area of 35,000m² and 12 m interior height (UKB) available. Modern office and sanitary areas for over 100 employees are located in the mezzanine area. The hall is designed for room temperatures up to 17°C and uses 100% DENA-certified biogas as an energy source.

The installation of a photovoltaic system on the roof and high-quality building insulation in accordance with current standards ensures efficient energy generation and optimum thermal protection. The KfW Efficiency Building 55 with a substructure of certified steel mill slag ensures the functioning of the circular economy.

The site is fenced all around, video-monitored, connected 24/7 to a security service and equipped with a burglar alarm system. Incoming and outgoing truck traffic is controlled and monitored with state-of-the-art access and barrier technology.

The compensation balance (eco-account) is represented on the own property, for this purpose, among other things, 100% of the rainwater is infiltrated in the own facility.

The roof system consists of a foil roof with thermal insulation in accordance with the requirements of the Building Energy Law (GEG).

On the construction site, charging columns for cars and the installation of a truck e-charging column with 350kW charging capacity are planned. An e-truck will serve customers in the local area.

Induction-guided storage and retrieval machines, electric forklifts and state-of-the-art, highly efficient warehouse technology in accordance with the latest standards are used.

The hall floor consists of a low-joint concrete floor with steel fiber reinforcement. For the storage of substances up to WGKIII as well as hazardous goods, a WHG foil sealing is available and designed as a trough.

The windows are made of aluminum and are equipped with triple insulating glazing. The interior and exterior lighting is realized by sensor-controlled LED lights.

The fire protection of the hall meets the latest standards and includes measures such as foam extinguishing, extinguishing water tank, ceiling sprinklers, gas detectors, air exchangers and a fire alarm system with connection to the fire department. Furthermore, all hall areas are equipped with a BOS radio system.

The plant is located in the industrial area conveniently situated on the B98 and close to the A4, A13 and A14 freeways. It is located between the metropolises of Leipzig and Dresden near Riesa.

A rail siding and access to the Saxon Inland Port in Riesa (Elbe) are located in the immediate vicinity of the plant, providing our customers with extensive transport options.
