Isaballe Beerbaum-Chenut, Cristina Gonzalez, Cornelia Repas, Markus Freudenmann, Almir Ahmetovic and Christophe Biard started the 5 kilometer course, while Christoph Nestler, Robert Hörger, Adrian Hoffmann and Thomas Betz went about the 10 kilometer distance.
The route with its 200 meter difference in altitude was not an easy challenge. Right at the beginning a long drawn-out steep ascent was waiting for the runners, which both, the 5 k and the 10 k runners had to climb. After the run, the impressions sounded very similar from all sides “it was just uphill all the time”. But Fun was clearly the main focus and thus the collective achievement was celebrated with drinks and more.
That’s why there will be a team at the very well organized run next year again, where one or another will try to improve his minimum time.
