Educational days for our new trainees

Training at Finsterwalder is not just about imparting theoretical and practical knowledge about logistics and freight forwarding. It is just as important for us to introduce the newest members of our “family of logistics” to our corporate culture.

The educational days, which we held together with Mr. Michael Hofmann from KOMPASS outdoor team erleben, provide the ideal framework for this. Through various activities, the trainees had the opportunity to get to know our management team and Finsterwalder's values better and to find out directly what makes us a top 15 employer in the logistics industry.

The trainees were first divided into groups and had two hours to build a marble run. They were not only able to show their stamina, but also demonstrate their teamwork and problem-solving skills. After a shared lunch, the finished marble runs were presented and judged.

In the afternoon, a “treasure” had to be retrieved from the center of a circle without touching the ground - various aids were allowed to be used. With great skill, one trainee was lifted over the treasure by her team colleagues using a climbing harness and was able to secure it successfully.

At the end, there was a joint dinner where some of our managers were available to answer questions that the trainees had prepared together in the afternoon.

The educational days were a complete success and not only gave our new trainees valuable insights into the Finsterwalder world, but also strengthened their team spirit. We are looking forward to the future together with our junior employees and are proud to accompany them on their way in the logistics industry. 🚀
