Member of the Presidium of the District Association

This year's general meeting of the Saxony-Anhalt Transport Association (Landesverbands des Verkehrsgewerbes Sachsen-Anhalt or LVSA) was marked by the resignation of Gerhard Bertram, who had served as President for twelve years.

This change at the top was due to the LVSA statutes’ stipulation that the presidency may only be held up to the age of 70. This time having been reached, a new election took place. Jens-Uwe Jahnke emerged as the new President  from the constituent meeting of the new six-member Presidium, along with Danilo Ebel and Hans-Dieter Otto as Vice-Presidents.
Mr. Wolf-Peter Peter, Managing Director of the company Finsterwalder Transport und Logistik GmbH and of other companies  in the group, was re-elected as a member of the Presidium.
The  remaining members of the Executive Committee—Sandy Auch, Danielo Ebel, Peter Meier and Hans-Dieter Otto—also represent the interests of the industry.
The  Saxony-Anhalt Transport Association (Landesverbands des Verkehrsgewerbes Sachsen-Anhalt or LVSA) is an association of companies from the private transport sector. As a trade association, the LVSA represents the commercial interests of its members at state level (not federal level).
Through targeted public relations work and campaigns in the media, it draws attention to the concerns of the trade in order to achieve greater public acceptance of transport by truck.

We congratulate Mr. Wolf-Peter Peter on this position and wish him continued success.
