LIONS Charity Run in Halle/Saale

On June 21st, 2013 the already 6th Lions charity run took place downtown Halle (Saale). More than 1,000 runners had signed in already in advance. In the end the initiators found positive results: The 1,465 runners successfully completed 20,964 rounds.

This means that at least 30,000 Euros could be collected in donations for the flood victims. The idea of the charity run is that every runner finds a sponsor who, besides the starting fee of 5.00 Euros, donates any amount for each round completed, but at least 1.00 euro per round.

But also many companies took part in the creation and organization of the charity run. Finsterwalder Transport and Logistik, as in the years before, sponsored the big main stage in the form of a 40 ton truck. The loading space offers perfect space for a stage. And the award ceremony could take place. And also the host and the DJ had a good view over the happenings at the run.
