The commercial management of DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH, the management of the vehicle maintenance plant in Dessau and representatives from DB's logistics planning and controlling departments were recently guests at our branch in Halle/Saale. They took the opportunity to gain a deeper insight into the warehouse locations of the “DB Goodwarehouse”.

After a site presentation, the current warehouse situation and the strategic challenges and opportunities of the DB Goodwarehouse were outlined. However, the subsequent tours of the DB Goodwarehouse logistics areas in Halle and Hohenthurm were particularly impressive, as the participants were able to experience the efficient processes at first hand.

The partnership-based cooperation with DB is the basis of the project. The site visits are not only a valuable opportunity to better understand the processes in the DB Goodwarehouse at Finsterwalder, but also promote the exchange between the various departments of Deutsche Bahn and Finsterwalder - family of logistics.
