We’ve been quite busy: We recently welcomed an interested school class to Finsterwalder and gave the students exciting insights into our professional world and the various career paths available.
The group arrived by bus at 9:30 a.m. After a quick snack of butter pretzels in our conference room, our apprentices, together with our in-house training coordinators, introduced the company and our various apprenticeship programs. Of course, there was plenty of time to answer questions about training and careers at Finsterwalder.
Afterward, equipped with safety vests and shoe covers, they went on a tour of our facility. Our team leaders were on hand in the various halls to answer questions. The students were particularly impressed by the size of the halls and the many vehicles in our yard. During a joint wrap-up session, there was still time for further questions, discussions, and feedback.
A special highlight: One student was quite surprised to learn that we call a vehicle an “ant” - she certainly won’t forget that term 😉
We’re already looking forward to perhaps welcoming some familiar faces from this group as new apprentices to our family of logistics soon!
