TERMINAL B – Finsterwalder's new logistics center in Türkheim / Bad Wörishofen

There are 2 hall areas with a total area of 20,000 m2 and a hall height (UKB) of 12.20 m available. Modern office and sanitary facilities for approx. 100 employees are housed in the office complex, which extends over 3 floors. The logistics center is designed for room temperatures of up to 17 degrees Celsius and is heated using state-of-the-art heat pump technology.

The installation of a photovoltaic system on the roof of the logistics center and high-quality building insulation in line with current standards ensures efficient energy generation and optimum thermal insulation.

The site is fully fenced, video-monitored and the intruder alarm system is connected to a security service 24/7. The entry and exit of trucks is controlled by ramp assignment software and modern barrier and access technology.

The compensation balance (eco-account) is shown on your own property, for this purpose, among other things, the rainwater is infiltrated into your own system.

The roof system consists of a foil roof with thermal insulation and corresponding fire protection insulation in accordance with the requirements of the Building Energy Act (GEG). The hall roof is equipped with a large-scale photovoltaic system with 2 MWp.

Car charging stations are available at the site for employees and visitors. Two charging stations for electric trucks with a total charging capacity of 600 kW will also be installed. Several e-trucks will serve customers in the local area.

Various racking systems such as narrow aisle storage, wide aisle storage and shelving storage are installed in the storage area. Induction-guided storage and retrieval machines, electric forklifts and state-of-the-art, highly efficient warehouse technology are used. There is also a value-added service area with modern packing stations and packaging machines.

The hall floor consists of a jointless, reinforced concrete base and is provided with a WHG foil, which is designed as a trough, for the storage of substances hazardous to water (WGK I-III).

The windows are made of aluminum and are equipped with triple insulating glazing. The interior and exterior lighting is provided by sensor-controlled LED lights.

The hall's fire protection meets the latest FM Global standards and is equipped with a modern fire alarm system with a connection to the fire control center.

The facility is located directly at the "Bad Wörishofen" exit of the A96 freeway. From here, both regional conurbations such as Munich, Augsburg or Ulm and supra-regional areas such as the DACH region can be easily reached.
